Privacy Policy
The Privacy Policy for Vectory App.
At Vectory, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, safeguard, and disclose your personal information when you use our website, application, and any associated third-party integrations.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information You Provide
When you register for an account, subscribe to our premium plans, or contact our support team, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, billing information, and company profile.
B. Information from Third-Party Integrations (Meta, Facebook, Instagram)
To provide our CRM and automation services, you may connect your Vectory account to third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram. When you integrate these platforms, we collect and process:
- Account authentication parameters and API access tokens.
- Profile information from connected accounts (e.g., page names, usernames).
- Messaging and interaction data (inbound and outbound direct messages, comments, story replies) strictly required to facilitate the automated workflows, Chat AI, and CRM features you explicitly configure.
Note on Meta Integrations: We only request the minimum permissions necessary from Meta APIs (e.g., instagram_manage_messages, pages_manage_metadata, pages_show_list) to provide the core functionality of our automation Service. We do not use this data for any purposes outside of operating your workflows.
C. Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect technical data when you visit our Service, which may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, and usage telemetry (such as pages visited, features utilized, and time spent on the platform).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the core Vectory Service.
- Ensuring the reliable execution of your automated workflows and logic on connected platforms (e.g., handling Instagram DM replies instantly).
- Processing your subscription payments securely.
- Sending technical notices, system updates, security alerts, and support messages.
- Analyzing platform usage trends to enhance the user experience and develop new features.
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We respect your privacy and do not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share data with vetted third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., payment gateways like Polar, cloud hosting providers, transactional database services).
- Third-Party Platforms (Your Integrations): Data, such as automated replies or CRM updates, is transmitted back to platforms like Facebook, Instagram, or Telegram strictly to execute the automations you set up.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or in response to legally valid requests by public authorities.
- Business Transfers: If Vectory is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal information may be transferred with prior notice.
4. Data Security, Retention, and Deletion
We implement industry-standard security measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your personal information and API tokens. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information and messaging logs only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal records.
- Disconnecting Accounts: If you disconnect a third-party account (e.g., removing your Meta connection), we will immediately revoke access and securely delete the associated API tokens.
- Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our support team or using the account management tools within the dashboard.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your local jurisdiction (such as GDPR or CCPA frameworks), you may have the right to:
- Access, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Restrict or object to the processing of your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time where we relied on your consent to process your personal information.
- Revoke Vectory's API access to your third-party accounts directly from the respective platform's settings (e.g., through Facebook Business Integrations).
6. Children's Privacy
Vectory's Service is designed for business and professional use and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or regulatory requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the revised policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
